Alternate Format Tests

The AT&AEM Center has partnered with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce to provide state tests in specialized formats.  Braille formats of state practice tests are available for Grades 3-8 and for End of Course Exams for high school students through the OCALI Lending Library. Braille formats for states tests and Ohio's Alternate Assessment for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD) can be requested. If your district requires braille test materials, ask your test coordinator to call or write to the Ohio Help Desk at (877) 231-7809 or ohhelpdesk@air.org. All braille materials are secure materials and must be returned to Pel Hughes with all testing materials at the close of the test administration window.
