Lending Library Featured Item

A classroom-wide approach for preschool children starting to use augmentative and alternative communication with core vocabulary. The Tell Me Program focuses on a small set of high frequency words. Using familiar books, such as I Went Walking (included), preschool teams target core words in shared reading, shared writing, and classroom routines. Authors Carole Zangari and Lori Wise included 11 book-specific packets that give step-by-step guidance on teaching 4–6 core words in large-group, small-group, and individual activities. Book packet materials available on included PDF USB drive. Also included in this kit is a GoTalk 4+ communication device.

Federal Quota

The Federal Quota Program provides specialized educational materials, including textbooks and equipment, to eligible students with visual impairments.

Annually, the AT&AEM Center conducts the Federal Quota Registration of Blind Students in Ohio to identify eligible infants, students, and adults who qualify. Census registration is open the first Monday of January through the end of February.
