Tech You Can Touch! AT Exploration for Vision Impairments

Join the OCALI AT&AEM Center and the Statewide Services and Outreach (SSO) division of Ohio Deaf and Blind Education Services, (ODBES) as we partner for a half-day, hands-on exploration of low-to-high-tech assistive technology to support students with vision impairments. Explore screen reader technology, refreshable braille displays, braille note takers, magnification devices, tactile graphics and low-tech options that can be used to support learning. Through guided exploration and demonstrations, attendees will gain a better understanding of how these tools can support student access, independence, and engagement in the classroom. This training will be in-person only and held at OCALI.
