Overview
Making it Count: Documenting in the IEP, is the sixth module in the AT Consideration Series: Beyond the Checkbox, a six-part exploration of the Assistive Technology (AT) consideration process. This module focuses on Step 6 and Summary of the AT Decision-Making Tool: Additional Areas of Focus and Summarizing the Need for AT and AEM. This webinar provides guidance on if additional tasks should be considered for the student. It also reviews summarizing the findings of the ATDMT and when to check yes or no for AT consideration in special factors.

- Participants will be able to interpret the summary of the ATDMT to document needs in the IEP.
- Participants will be able to list 3 sections of an IEP to document AT and/or AEM.
- Participants will describe how to list features of devices and services needed within an IEP.
